About Staten Island Community Tennis
Located at 2800 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314, Staten Island Community Tennis operates as a tennis club serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Staten Island, courts fill up on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, especially in spring and fall, so a reservation or an early start avoids the wait. Club memberships across New York range from a few hundred dollars a year at community swim-and-tennis clubs to initiation fees and monthly dues at full country clubs, and many clubs offer summer or trial memberships. Guests are usually welcome when accompanied by a member, and non-members can often book lessons, clinics or court time at commercial centers. Check the listing for surface, lighting, indoor courts, reservation rules and whether pickleball lines share the courts, then call ahead on holidays, when hours change.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 982-3355. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is statenislandtennis.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 32 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Staten Island peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

There are plenty of cracks in courts, the worst part of all is that they donβt have snack vending machines!!

The instructors are subpar and would not recommend. The staff is VERY rude (the secretary who works during the week not weekend is very nice though). I paid for a 12 lessons that started on November 30th. We were off two weeks for Christmas/New Year's and then one week for the blizzard. They decided to end the program on lesson 10, not 12. The instructor I had gave no feedback on how to improve, we did the same thing every week.

Simply the best. I am not sure who posted the negative reviews for this place, but I bet they had a bad attitude from the get-go. There are definitely stressful days, but itβs never unpleasant. This place is safe for kids, has a wonderful staff and coaches. Once you get to know folks around, you will understand why people stay for years.
